PING G400 Hybrid Review
PING have announced the launch of the brand new G400 Hybrid for the 2017 and 2018 season. The new Hybrid will aim to build on the success of the G range that succeded it.
The signature of the new PING G400 range is a higher ball flight, hotter faces and a tighter dispersion pattern and PINg have acheived this largely through the use of Mararging Steel which has allowed them to significantly reduce the thinness of the face and as a result increase ball speed by up to 2mph.
By creating a thinner crown PING have also been able to save weight to use elsewhere in the head and as result increase MOI and reducing twist in the process meaning straighter shots and tighter dispersion patterns can be achieved.
Shaft options and RRP's:
- Graphite shafts ALTA CB 70 (Soft R, R, S, X) - RRP £
- Premium graphite shafts PING Tour 173-85 (R, S, X)
Loft options:
Right & left hand, lofts 2 (17°), 3 (19°), 4 (22°), 5 (26°), 6 (30°)
PING will also be using a Golf Pride Tour Velvet grip as standard throughout the range.
