What the club says: Established in 1890, York is a members’ club which has played host to several national events over the last few years, but our doors are open to you as well. We welcome visitors all year round, whether bookings are made individually, in groups or for society and corporate events.
The course is a blend of parkland and heathland just 6 miles NE of the City of York with all its historic tourist attractions. Excellent drainage means that the course is a pleasure to play all year round.

Nice course but very thick rough
Wish i could have played it off the tees a lot better. Nice enough course, a bit samey may be. No stand out holes except may be the 7th across water.Reviewer Rating

Nice Place
This is, in my opinion, the nicest course in York. Its mature parkland with a heathland feel and always in good condition. It would be almost Sunningdale esque if it had more elevation change - but then its on the vale of York so its flat.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 19.2)

Good challenging course. Some narrow tree lined fairways punish wayward tee shots. Tricky greens in excellent condition and very fast.
