What the club says: Set in beautiful countryside on the outskirts of York, York Golf Range and Course provides outstanding facilities and exceptional value for money. Opened in 2003 as a state of the art driving range, an artificial all weather putting course soon followed. With the addition of the light and airy conservatory in 2005 this provided the space for us to extend the Pro Shop and Cafe. Recently the completion of our 9 Hole Academy Course has ensured our position as the premier golf practice and learning facility in the York area.

Ok for a quick round
Get what you pay for. Fairways and greens could do with some work but to play a quick game of golf it will do. Downside is when busy play can be very slow.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 28.3)

Nice little pay and play
A mix of mostly long par 3's and short-ish par 4's, so you could leave the driver at home but a very interesting little course that makes you think about each shot. Greens are drying well and it is in better condition than some other (a lot more expensive) courses in the area.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 79 Handicap: 18.5)

Course is very poor and on par with seaside pitch and putt courses. The grass is poor quality and ground rock hard. Greens are half dead half course grass and as smooth as the adjacent farm fields. Price is the same as nearby \\\\\\\"proper\\\\\\\" courses so much better to go to them.\\\\Driving range used to be good but is now in poor condition with damage on most bays. Auto tee mechanism lifts ball by suction and kept doing so once upright so shots are affected by this.\\\\

Play here weekly. Great course. Great staff. A couple of the greens are a little rough but it makes for a challenging course.

Friendly staff and a good pro shop. Course greens a little rough in parts but for the price per round. it is an excellent course and good value for money

Nice course for a knock. Short course but it requires you to use most of your clubs. very good value for money and the facilities are excellent considering it is only a short acadamy course.

I really enjoyed and found it a great course possible just a little overpriced for what it is. Didn't offer student discount or membership but i was very pleased overall i will defenatly go again
