What the club says: The golf course, which is situated only a mile and a half from the city centre of York, and is a parkland course with tight fairways, small greens and a substantial number of mature trees of diverse species.
Although it is a relatively short course (6105 yards) it is a definite test for golfers of all abilities. It is not easy to ‘burn it up'. The secret of a successful round is straight hitting and accepting one's punishment when in trouble. The four par three holes are rated as the toughest par threes in the York Union of Golf Clubs. The course's antiquity is reflected in the quality of the greens.

Brilliant little track. Quirky for sure no doubt but well worth the visit. Good value

Lovely little course

Members appeared very friendly towards visitors. What the course lacks in yardage is made up with tight narrow fairways. Drives must be arrow straight or you find yourself in the trees. Enjoyed my visit the course was in excellent condition certainly would play the course again.

only 10 holes so some repeat of holes from different tees. A tight course in great condition and at £7.50 to £10 per round fantastic value for money
