Swing Catalyst Introduces New App for iPhone and iPad
Swing Catalyst -- the complete swing analysis system used by instructors, coaches and golfers around the world -- has introduced its long-awaited app, which is free to iPhone and iPad users.
The company has been developing and perfecting the app for two years. Previously, only Tour pros had access to using the app. Many pros, including LPGA superstar Suzann Pettersen, has been using the app that allows golfers to capture and analyze their swing from anywhere. Now amateur golfers have access to it, as well.
While there are several swing analysisapps for mobile phones, the SwingCatalyst app is unique in that it has its own ecosystem. That is, it's tightly connected to the sophisticated SwingCatalyst video analysis software. Golfers can now quickly send their instructor video of their swing, for instant and detailed feedback -- all within the app.
Other features include:
- Capture swings in full HD
- Multiple drawing tools
- Analyze videos frame by frame
- Compare two videos
- Synchronize two videos
- Download free tour swings (Justin Rose and Suzann Pettersen)
- Share videos with other Swing Catalyst users and instructors
- Upload to cloud storage (10 free videos)
- Download and view Swing Catalyst video lessons

"You are now able to monitor your improvements over time and receive instant feedback from your coach. Learning is no longer constrained by time and place."
