FootJoy Releases New 2025 HyperFlex Golf Shoes
The HyperFlex range of golf shoes from FootJoy has been incredibly popular, but given the manufacturer's commitment to innovation, there are new versions available this year to deliver tremendous comfort, traction and performance.
Wrapped in Comfort
FJ’s popular StratoFOAM cushioning delivers comfort and support tuned for golf. The midsole design provides the perfect blend of cushioning which helps absorb shock while maximising energy return to reduce foot fatigue. The new HyperFlex is powered by FJ’s proprietary TruFIT System, providing easy-on flexibility and wraparound heel support for a locked-in, secure fit.
Traction For Every Condition
The OptiFlex outsole design promotes stability where you need it, with strategically placed angles of traction devised with the golfer in mind. LP Pulsar cleats and additional traction elements are used to target omni-directional swing forces throughout the golf swing.
Hyper Powered
HyperFlex features a new outsole PowerPlate that transfers energy to the ground to maximise speed, resisting any twisting through the golf swing. A TPU Saddle harnesses any top of foot movement and transfers it back into the ground. For those looking for even more stability and comfort, the HyperFlex Carbon shoe features a molded carbon fiber power plate that delivers Tour-level performance.
Tour Adoption
Since its introduction, the new HyperFlex has had one of the quickest adoption rates on tour the FJ brand has ever seen, with players across the worldwide tours opting to put the new model straight into play.
One of these golfers is 15-time PGA Tour winner, Justin Thomas, who has relied on modern classic footwear for the entirety of his junior and professional career but recently decided to transition into the new HyperFlex to help improve performance.
"I’ve worn a classic shoe for pretty much my entire career - Classics, Icon, Premiere, etc. - but I had to make a switch when I tried this HyperFlex," said Thomas.
"This shoe is perfect - super comfortable and flexible in the right areas, but also gives me all the support I need to make a strong, confident move on the ball."
It’s not just the two-time major champion who has made the switch into the franchise but also the likes of Corey Connors, Francesco and Edoardo Molinari and the recent Qatar Masters champion, Haotong Li.
All of these tour winners were previously sporting a different footwear model until the new HyperFlex launched on tour.
