Nice flat 9 holer go round twice

Seems to drain well as it was quite good to play after a wet spell. Reasonable prices, nice flat course so not too difficult physically for the old 'uns. Beautiful surroundings, next door to the old Swindon/Staffs course which has now closed. Woman on desk was ok with us, quite friendly, but not happy with the bloke we saw later serving coffees. Really perfunctory, almost unfriendly attitude. Spoiled it for me so won't be rushing back. (Busy course, so they probably don't need the custom).

In lovely condition

The course was in excellent condition with quick green and well cared for fairways. This is a 9 hole/18 tee course which would lead to congestion during busy times. As it was we were held up for a few holes due to slow play, not congestion. All said and done it was good value at ?20 for 18 and they only accept cash. I would play again dependant on time of teeing off. Although I would recommend it would be after ensuring they understood how the course operates

Course has matured well. Still a lot of work to do with bunkers as some are full of rubble and rubbish! Both green side and on the fairway!
That said, £14 for 9 holes isn’t bad at all.

Nonsense prices and no facilities.

Since the start of Covid prices have been increased by 50% and facilities totally withdrawn. The patio furniture was allowed to rot away and is now removed, and the patio closed. The bar is closed as are the toilets (if you don't include the disgusting Portaloo which people are frightened to use) and there is simply nowhere to sit. Facilities - what facilities?

Not having played this course for a number off years we decided to book a tee time for Saturday morning.to our supprise things have really come on leaps and bounds not your normal 9 hole golf course would put a lot off the more established courses to shame a great clubhouse friendly staff and the facilities have really come on gym driving range par3 course Footgolf excellent short game area and the range was manicured like a golf hole fairway cut out semi rough target greens and great views.we opted to play 9 holes at first then decided to play 18 holes as the course has had a new layout with what they call handicap tees we opted to play off the back tees and what a great test off golf it is now par 69 measuring just under 6000 yards.the golf course was manicured and presented in good condition to my supprise for this time off year greens where a bit bumpy in places as they had been air-rated holes but true and quite quick.overall view is this course is a great challenge for every standard off player now with great facilities affordable pricing will definitely be coming back

I played the course in February 2017 teeing off at midday. Although the course seemed quite busy when we arrived at around 1000 (we played footgolf in the morning), it was pretty quiet when we played so pace of play was as fast we could play. It took us 4.5 hours to complete the course.

I am a beginner and played with my 7 year old son. We found this to be a good test for beginners, with wide fairways and not much in the way of water hazards or other obstacles. Bunkers were pretty easy to negotiate too and the greens were in good condition. The fairways obviously drain well as there was hardly any mud and the grass was cut pretty short. There are not too many trees or hedges and the rough wasn't too difficult to play out of, albeit the deep rough is pretty testing for a beginner. There is OOB on a few holes, but we didn't find that an issue at all and found more balls than we lost!

We didn't use the range but the practice chipping and putting areas were very useful and in great condition. The owners and other golfers were very welcoming and polite.

Overall at ?23 for 18 holes for myself and my son, I felt this offered good value and whilst we won't be rushing back, I think this will be a good course to play in the winter months, due to the excellent drainage. Definitely a pay and play course that we will visit again though!
