What the club says: The Highgate and Lodge courses each have nine holes of majestic woodland and nine holes of picturesque heathland and are frequently used to host R &A, E.G.U. PGA & County events. We were proud to host the Midland Regional Open qualifying round from 2007 to 2011 and the British Girls Open Amateur Championships in 2017 on behalf of the R & A. 2021-23 we play host to the R&A British Under 16 Girls and in 2022 host England Golf Logan Trophy.
The club now has two eighteen hole courses; Highgate, with a standard scratch of 74 and the lodge, with 72. Both Courses test the golfer to the limit, combining a mixture of heathland surrounded with testing tree lined fairways.
Enville is a venue for many top professional and amateur tournaments including British Open Qualifying. The large membership with numerous Society visitors indicates that the club is one of the most popular in the West Midlands. Its practice facilities are some of the best in England.

Best course(s) in the midlands
Played the lodge. Impeccable condition. Greens fast and testing. Friendly clubhouse welcome. 2 brilliant championship courses. All 4 players commented that every hole is interesting unlike most courses where there are 10-12 mundane holes.Reviewer Rating

Golf Trip
Enville, The Belfry - Brabazon, Camberley Heath, Parkstone. Hands down Enville was the best of the lot, Highgate perfect in the Sun and even the rain the Lodge played beautiful. Which was better to be honest id say they Highgate but only just as the heath on the Lodge although short was beautiful. Id play again but maybe try somewhere else other then the BrabazonReviewer Rating

Put both these courses up with some of the best in Surrey, its pure golfing joy. Some great holes and the condition for February was fantastic. Do not know which course I would choose over the other when I get to play it again,Reviewer Rating

Love to Join
I have played the Lodge in Opens but never the Highgate, so when our society managed to get us booked in I was thrilled. I am glad to say it did not disappoint the weather was the only thing that let it down. Greens incredible for November, it played a little long for a pensioner in winter in the cold and wet.Reviewer Rating

Best Greens
Played 4 days in a row in an England Golf event. The course we played was the Highgate. Fantastic best I’ve played all year and the greens don’t think I have played on better, in front of greens like carpets, golf was steady but I’d get better playing here for sure especially with the practice facility. food, drink and hospitality I’d say about average but would I come back yes for sure !Reviewer Rating

Lodge
Great to get out on a proper golf course, having played on many mud tracks this spring thanks to the miserable English spring, Flew round 18 holes on the Lodge as the other course was busy and hadn’t booked, loved it, some drainage work is going on with big machines but that didn’t effect our game and it was in great condition, had to park on the grass would be my only small mark offReviewer Rating

Lodge
18 Holes on the Lodge as the Highgate was busy, so glad it was, some lovely holes many like Woburn and then some cracking Heathland holes. Course for almost April was fantastic, winter rate. members saying they were getting it ready for a tournament for the Army. First time on the Lodge and would definitely give it a go again.Reviewer Rating
