What the club says: Wellingborough is an enchanting little town deep in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside, and is a real hidden gem in many ways. It is picturesque, scenic and would not look out of place on any postcard. It is also the home of Embankment Golf Club, a marvellous treat of a golf club which is home to a superb little golf course.
It was founded in 1977 and has only nine-holes - and stretches for 3562 yards in return for a standard scratch of 73 - but it is a delightful little place for any golfer, particularly those on a short break in the area, especially as it runs alongside the river in the town.

Much better then expected. Good practice course with decent greens. 7th hole quite tight. You get given a 6i, 8i, pw and putter.

good little course at Center Parcs in elveden forest. The course is quite short and the holes fairly easy, but the course was in very good condition and is suitable for higher handicappers (or lower handicappers seeking birdies)
