What the club says: Whitley Golf Club in Wiltshire is a 9 hole parkland course and is short enough for beginners to enjoy but also provides a stern test to established golfers with four par 3’s, four par 4’s and a par 5. The nature of the course means that on several of the holes there are different ways of playing them; therefore your course management will be tested to the maximum. Having two sets of tees on each hole, means that you can play 18 holes and have a degree of variety from the front nine to the back

Great layout
For a nine hole course this is really nice layout. The greens and tees weren’t in the greatest condition but for £12 how can you complain. It has some nice holes with well worked out layouts - not just a back and forth course. Will certainly be going again.Reviewer Rating

Poor driving range
No grass on the driving range meaning your basically hitting off bare soil, balls are about 8+ years old and move all sorts of directions on any strike. Don’t accept cash when you eventually get served. Not an enjoyable experience. Didn’t play the course so can’t comment on that but won’t be back again for sure.Reviewer Rating

Little Surprise
Relaxed & Great Value, especially if you go for the Day rate.Although quite short on a few holes, it is designed to make you think. Course management is a must, even for lower handicaps.

Nice course
A nice course with very friendly staff. The greens are decent and the fairways good. Some nice obstacles and a good mixture of short and long holes. Shame it's only 9 holesReviewer Rating
