What the club says: Accuracy, rather than length is the key to a successful round on this challenging 6357 yard Par 71 course and its SSS of 72 gives you a clue to how challenging it can be.
Designed by Sandy Herd originally, the course has tree lined and generous fairways to all but the errant shot. Well protected par 3 greens provide great interest with well placed bunkers.

Westerhope is a pleasant well maintained Parkland course which is a challenge to all levels of golfer's. The course has many tree lined fairways to navigate and well placed bunkers to trap a wayward shot.The course is not too long and fairly level so is suitable for golfer's of all ages.The clubhouse is well stocked and welcoming and well worth a visit.

Great course and very fair to golfer's of all abilities. The parkland course has recovered well from all the wet weather and is beginning yo look at it's best.

Lovely course
Haven't played Westerhope for a long time, and I'm wondering why. The course is very pretty, with most of the holes framed by Scots pines on both sides of the fairway. It's not overly scary though, as the fairways are quite generous, as long as you avoid some of the more dense wooded areas! Good mix of holes as well, some long and short par 4s, which mixes things up nicely, and some great par 3s. The par 5s aren't bad either! All in all very enjoyable, and I won't leave it as long to come back again.Reviewer Rating

Decent Course worth a visit

Great course

Nice layout
A traditional parkland layout in good condition for the time of year. The course was fair considering the amount of recent rain.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 111 Handicap: 23.7)
