What the club says: Set in the beautiful "Vale of York", in close proximity to the Lower Derwent Valley, The Oaks Golf Club boasts an outstanding Championship course. All the greens and tees are built to full USGA specifications and there are also six water features, all of which come in to play! The log cabin half way house provides some respite for golfers before teeing up to take on the lake at the 10th tee. A recent quotation from a well respected golf journalist goes along way to summing up The Oaks experience, "A truly outstanding venue which is in perfect condition and is a delight to play for golfers of all standards."

Great GCMA meeting
Excellent day all round from the course, staff, food etc.Throroughly recommended and well worth a visit

I played a wonderful course at the oaks today. The course was in fantastic condition and the greens played really well too. Would definitely recommend this course you won't be disappointed.

Really Nice
I was invited to play by a friend who is a member at the course, really loved it. Big open fairways, in really good condition, with a good variation of different holes.I would definitely play it again.

First Class Venue
Excellent course and venue. I would advise any keen golfer to go and play this course. Tree lined fairways, lakes, bunkers, mounding make for a great but fair test for all abilities. Greens very true and fast. I also thought it was excellent value.Reviewer Rating
