What the club says: The course provides a good test of golf for golfers of all abilities. The tree lined fairways make accuracy from the tee important. We have two par 5's, the 11th and 18th holes, five tricky par 3's, and the remainder par 4's of varying lengths. Each hole has a character all of it's own, and the course offers spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Popular Spot
1st time back since a round over summer when it was very busy. It was colder & damper & wetter underfoot but if anything even busier. Plenty of 4 balls never letting the 2 balls through. It is a Great course with varied holes but One to avoid until summer I feel because there were strong signs of mud off the fairways already on worn paths from all the traffic. That said the greens played well & the fairways holding up well too. No real ales or craft beer in the pavilion either but the Indian food is excellent. Something to look forward to.Reviewer Rating

Top Condition
Course played superbly. Rapid greens, hard fairways. Very enjoyable. Post round meal very nice. The only blemish came when a member leaving the 1st green felt the need for an altercation claiming he’d not heard a cry of fore despite the ball landing nowhere near him nor the green. Suspect the hot weather had gotten to him.Reviewer Rating

Challenging & Superb Value
Was good to get back to Stanmore. Some may find it short but fully meets my needs. Excellent lay out, tough if not over fast greens, some narrowish fairways & plenty of hazards to negotiate. A couple of holes with great views across London. Lovely stuffReviewer Rating

Great venue for excellent food and service
Hi, had a group of 18 visit Stanmore GC for a lunchtime bash, the service provided by head chef Gautham was above excellent. His team provided a very prompt response to our ever-changing additional food requirements, veg/non-veg/vegan etc, Gautham just cooks it as required. What is amazing is the portion size, really good value for money, he surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake too which was not planned. Thank you Gautham & team.Reviewer Rating
