What the club says: Hartsbourne Country Club is one of the most prestigious private members clubs in the south east of England.
The club is situated in Bushey Heath, on the county borders of Hertfordshire and Middlesex and has 27 individually challenging holes set in over 180 acres of beautifully manicured and mature parkland. It is easy to appreciate why Hartsbourne Country Club is considered one of the hidden gems of private members golf.

Huge potential but much refurbishment for now
Despite an unexceptional round, I still enjoyed the course. And that despite plenty of temporary tees on mats the size of a telephone box, plenty of roped off areas with some serious overhaul & works going on. And the greens had been aerated on top of that. The bar was closed when we got back around 4pm & the pro shop was being refurbished. There’s some serious work going on so no wonder we had the course to ourselves. BUT once done I can’t wait to get back there & give it a proper go.Reviewer Rating

Lovely
A very pretty gently undulating course. Some long par 3's and par 4's. Beware of the ditches across the fairways on at least 3 holes. Greens are often two tiered but in good condition and medium paced. I would play it again in a heartbeat. All the members that I had contact with were friendly and the staff excellent.Reviewer Rating

Great Day
Had a fabulous day at the Hartsbourne Golf and Country Cub. Nice breakfast in the restaurant to start. The staff were very helpful and everyone was very friendly. The course was amazing and wonderfully maintained.. The greens superb. The views were beautiful. Great day all round.Reviewer Rating

OK. This is a 27 hole course, our four ball only played 18 (Willow and Firs). All four of us are bogey golfers and it is fair to say the course was very challenging. The fairways are well cut yet grass is dense. The rough similarly whilst not high, is again dense. The greens very undulating and pacey. None of us played to our handicap. The longish par fours especially if uphill are a true challenge for a bogey. Great fun.

A club that continues to improve it's facilities. Latest innovation is the ability to track groups on the course to assist pace of play.
Course was in excellent condition for a March round.

Delightful Day
March 2019 : Society visit with a meal afterwards. Golf course was in excellent condition and the staff throughout were friendly and helpful. Clubhouse facilities again superb, the only comment I would make re-finding your way round the course is on some locations an indication of signage to find the next tea box would be useful.Reviewer Rating

Makes you want to return

Fantastic fairways.
