What the club says: Muckhart Golf Club has 27 holes comprising 3 courses of 18 holes on offer on a rotating basis. The other 9 holes are almost always available for casual play, including at times when the 'designated course' is being used for a club competition or for a visiting party.
Arndean 9 Hole Course is the most scenic of the three courses with stunning panoramic views to the South over the Forth Valley and to the Ochils in the North.
Cowden 9 Hole Course is the original nine where golf has been played for nearly 100 years. Virtually no changes have been made to the layout during this time and once you have played it you will know why.
Naemoor 9 Hole Course is the latest of the 3 courses to be built and offers 9 different challenges with no two holes running in the same direction. Its rural setting and vistas cannot be forgotten. Signature Holes

plays better in good weather, a goo test for any golfer. Need to get good weather and 2 out of the 3 good courses. Allocated on arrival wasn't able to pre select.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful setting
Started just after 5pm on a Saturday and had the course to ourselves. Fairways were lovely but the tees were a bit hairy! Greens were perhaps just a bit too slow. The scenery and overall feel of the course more than made up for any minor failings. Keep it straight though, semi quite thick and the rough.... just don't go there!! Played Andean and Naemoor, definitely worth a visit????Ps stayed out too late obviously as clubhouse was locked up before 9pm and my mate?s trainers are still locked up in there????

Hidden Gem
This is a great venue with 27 holes set in a stunning location. This was my first game here on over 20 years and it did not disappoint. After a warm and welcome reception in the well stocked pro shop I played the older and in my opinion best 2 loops of 9 holes - The Ardean and the Cowden.\No two holes are the same and the layout will test most of the clubs in your bag - however the big plus are the stunning views from many of the holes so even if you are not on your game - just look around you and feel blessed by the surroundings.\After the round a visit to the clubhouse was no less inviting and a good pint of beer and a “traditional” lorne sausage and black pudding roll hit the spot perfectly.\This golf course is not expensive and you can also pick up late minute bargains on-line so if you are in the area - make a point of checking it out if you are looking for a great value course.Reviewer Rating

A challenging Sunday stroll, this was a first time on the Naemoor, got to hit the fairways a brilliant wee course was interested in the football golf, might be time to try it as normal golf needs to get better. Try it you won't be disappointed, especially if its free with bunkered.
