Always great to play
Second time playing Marple, was impressed the first time and not disappointed this time. Friendly welcome in clubhouse and pro shop. Good practice facilities. Course in great condition, greens great rolled well. Fairly easy course to walk round, a few inclines but nothing too daunting. Great views of Manchester to boot. Will be back for a third visit for sure.Reviewer Rating

Nice course worth playing
First time playing Marple GC in one of their well organised open competitions. Friendly welcome in pro shop and clubhouse. Good practice facilities. Course looked superb and played as it looked. Lush fairways and well manicured greens which rolled really well and quite tricky. Some nice looking holes with a couple of card wreckers. Not always driver off the tee on some par 4s, need to plot your way round a little. Fairly easy walking course with only a couple of inclines. Would certainly return to play this course again, a little gem.Reviewer Rating

Pleasant course
Re-visited Marple, remains in good condition and quite a gentile round. Front nine is quite straightforward, back 9 more of a challenge. Sunday afternoon rate of ?15 was good value.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Often overlooked by those visiting the area, as it appears a relatively short course. But don't be deceived by the numbers, as the course throws up some really interesting holes and challenges. I've played here quite bit, and still haven't yet mastered the 12th. A course to truly enjoy your golf without straining yourself too much.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 81 Handicap: 15.9)
