I have played at Disley Golf Club many times over the last 10 years with a visiting Society and it has always been a favourite because of its varied holes and beautiful views. The condition of the course has significantly improved over recent months and is well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course in the Peak District
Played this course with my golf society earlier this week. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were well manicured and deceptively tricky. A beautiful parkland course with stunning scenery all around. The hospitality in the clubhouse afterwards was first class. I will definitely be backReviewer Rating

Quirks and views
This is the second time I have played this course at Disley. I found the course layout a little confusing at times, with some fairways crossing and teeing off across greens. That said the course is a delight to play and was in tip top condition when we played. There are some short and rather difficult holes and other interesting holes that called for a little thought or you were in trouble. The views around the course are outstanding, with views over Manchester and surrounding moorland hills.Reviewer Rating

Good course but greens very poor that day
Given the course location the groundstaff have a thankless task to keep it looking as picturesque and playable as they do. This day the greens were virtually impossible to play as they had been spiked to aid drainage after heavy rain.I love this course and will play again but perhaps later in the season so as to allow the course to be dryer and smoother to play.

Great course
A lovely course set on the edge of the Peak District close to Stockport. A mixture of parkland and rather quirky holes that can be quite challenging. It can be confusing for the first time player as several holes seem to cross each other close to the tee boxes. First time I have played a blind par 3. Greens are challenging and in very good order.Reviewer Rating
