East Yorks good'en
Friendly welcome from the staff, nice coffee and bacon sandwich before play.Course in great condition
greens make you think about your putts
Pace of play was average for a group of four balls, but some members were not happy with the pace. You travel to various courses to enjoy your golf not be bullied by impatient members.

Lovely layout, great in summer
We booked to play here and ended up playing in monsoon like rain, so given that I still really liked the course. Great layout, so interesting water holes, some tight tee offs and generally a very nice course. Leaves were a bit of an issue, but bearing in mind the greenkeepers were probably busy clearing water off the greens, I will let them off. Nice clubhouse, nice food and very reasonable cost at ?27.Reviewer Rating

One ball hold up
Great mornig at Cottingham, though arrived early 0930 to get a bacon buttie before the round but the kitchen wasn open even though it opened at 9am. Course was a bit soggy due to heavy rain but still enjoyable and challenging (29 hcp). Was held up by 3 ball for 12 holes before they let me through which was frustrating. Will be back for another round for sure.Reviewer Rating

Shouldn't be open.
Played as visitors and paid full summer green fees (£35). Course was sodden and the greens where the worst I've ever seen. Course shouldn't be open in this condition, especially at the rate your charging. Disappointing.Reviewer Rating

Lovely
Was a very, very warm day and as expected after such warm weather the ground was hard and greens were running quick. But the condition was generally very good and the layout keeps you on your toes.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 10.2)
