Hidden, quiet, lovely gem of a course
Not many will realise that this course exists being tucked away near Goole/Hull but it is well worth a visit. It may look short in yardage but the tricky holes mean you have to work hard to get a score. Opening looks amazingly easy but beware the hidden bunkers, streams, ditches and even hidden greens. For the me the 16th hole is the hardest with the 11th and 12th not far behind. Pro shop is well stocked and pleasant service from the young lad in there. Clubhouse is lovely inside and very welcoming for that much needed drink afterwards. You will not be disappointed in a summer visit to this course.Reviewer Rating

Absolutely lovely, would go back in a heart beat !
On arrival at the course, it was early and the pro shop wasn't open but some kind members gave us some tips about how to play the course and off went. The greens, fairways, bunkers and run off's were all immaculate and some of the touches around the tee boxes and water hazards really make this course one you have to go to. My friend and I are off 9 and 6 respectively and we found the different types of holes and approaches really brilliant. Its not a long course and only has one par 5, but that shouldn't put you off going and playing it. The pro in the shop was absolutely fantastic after the round and because they couldn't get us on again in the afternoon he rang Hull GC and got us on there. What a star ! we loved the course and the surrounding houses were very very nice, such a nice area. We will be back thats for sure !Reviewer Rating

Great course
Heavy downpours recently so turned up not knowing what to expect. Course was in fantastic condition, greens running true and playing surprisingly firm considering the weather. First time playing this course but would definitely play it again. Only downside is it's not the cheapest of coursesReviewer Rating

Challenging
Interesting course with some holes that really make you think and not a course to just pull out the driver every time.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 112 Handicap: 30.6)

Footy reunion
On arrival bacon rolls coffee in a lovely friendly grand clubhouse. The course was presented in excellent order nice for a shorter driver player. The fairways are shaped to position your ball if hit hard you may go through to tree hazards. The greens and fairways are in great condition. The greens are stepped in some parts so to raise your game . But I feel I had my best game and had a great experience and this was the comment from all . Nice practice putting and bunker chipping area also driving nets.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course, well worth a visit
Course looking and playing great towards the end of the summer season. Greens running true and grounds team doing wonders keeping on top of the chafer grub/crow damage that is afflicting all gardens & grass areas in the locality.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 83 Handicap: 11.3)
