Wilson 2025 DYNAPWR Irons Review
Wilson has expanded its popular DYNAPWR family by introducing two new irons, the game-improvement DYNAPWR (Steel: £750, Graphite (£800) and game-improvement plus DYNAPWR Max (Steel: £750, Graphite (£800).
These have been meticulously engineered from the inside out, boasting an intriguing PKR Cup face design, combined with the brand’s AI-generated Variable Face Technology, which optimises ball speed and distance.
Both irons are designed with a low centre of gravity (CG) and high moment of inertia (MOI), featuring toe-biased weight distribution for increased speed, forgiveness, and higher launch. A Velocity Optimisation Channel, strategically positioned in the sole and behind the face, enables enhanced flexibility for maximum ball speeds.
Dividing the game improvement category into two parts allowed Wilson to tackle two different player types with unique performance needs. The DYNAPWR iron caters to a better ball striker with its reduced offset, thinner topline and narrower sole. The DYNAPWR Max iron services players who prefer a little more forgiveness with a larger head size and a wider sole.
Golfshake's Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall has tested and reviewed both sets of irons for us from his Indoor Performance Centre at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, featuring Trackman analysis to give you a full flavour of what to expect from them.
