The Most Forgiving Golf Drivers of 2025
Golfshake's Equipment Expert, Ryan Rastall has picked out the most forgiving drivers for 2025, describing six of the finest models released this year that have been engineered to provide golfers with support, forgiveness and enhanced distance off the tee.
Featuring all of the latest technologies and innovations, each of these drivers has been created to deliver maximum forgiveness and to help those golfers who require a bit of assistance to find greater consistency and forgiveness - which is probably most of us! These drivers have also been optimised to help you to launch the ball in the air and to get you hitting it further and more accurately.
You can see what Ryan has chosen by watching his new video below or directly on YouTube.
- Callaway Elyte X
- Cobra DS-Adapt MAX K
- Srixon ZXi MAX
- PING G440 MAX
- Wilson DYNAPWR MAX
- TaylorMade Qi35 MAX
Are you a golfer who would benefit from a more forgiving driver? You should consider these!
Callaway Elyte X
The Elyte X has been created for those golfers who require maximum forgiveness, with the improved aerodynamics of this driver delivering faster speeds while offering improved launch conditions. It also benefits from the all-new Thermoforged Carbon crown, which is an aerospace-grade carbon fiber that Callaway has introduced to make those faster speeds possible alongside the enhanced launch and spin characteristics.
Cobra DS-Adapt MAX K
The MAX-K boasts an incredibly high 10K MOI, meaning that it provides the highest levels of forgiveness and consistency. It's a driver that features a slight oversize profile (460cc), making it clearly the most forgiving of Cobra's newest drivers.
Srixon ZXi MAX
For this season, Srixon introduced a completely new offering in the ZXi MAX Driver. This new model is the brand’s highest MOI driver to date, having been engineered to offer you an easier swing feel and maximum forgiveness.
PING G440 MAX
Of PING's latest drivers, the G440 MAX (460cc) is the most forgiving model and has been designed to suit most golfers. It boasts a 29 gram, three-position adjustable back weight for added shot control to give you added confidence off the tee.
Wilson DYNAPWR MAX
Wilson's MAX driver features an all-titanium design, with this particular model encompassing a larger footprint, meaning that it has enhanced stability on every shot. There is an increased front-to-back and heel-to-toe length that delivers a higher moment of inertia (MOI), encouraging straighter tee shots, while the changeable (19g) rear weight allows golfers the ability to control their left to right shot shaping for greater accuracy.
TaylorMade Qi35 MAX
Improving launch conditions and encouraging more distance off the tee, TaylorMade's Qi35 MAX includes a rear fixed tungsten weight inside the all-new symmetric inertia generator that reaches 34 grams without increasing overall head weight, meaning that the MOI remains at 10K while lowering the CG to 2.9mm.
