Titleist Vokey Wedges Custom Fit
With many golfers simply purchasing golf clubs online or picking a new club straight off the rack in a retail store, how do they know they have the right club for their game. Whilst being fit for a new driver or a new set of irons is now common place, being fitted for wedges is of equal importance to ensure you have the right clubs for your short game.
Golfshake Equipment Expert Ryan Rastall, the Head Pro at Howley Hall Golf Club in Leeds, recently visited Acushnet HQ in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, for a factory tour, iron fitting and wedge fitting at the Titleist National Fitting Centre.
Selecting the right wedges for your short game will come to an individuals technique hence the importance of being fit and selecting wedges that have the ideal loft, lie, bounce & grind set-up to maximise your game.
In our latest video, Ryan goes through a full wedge fitting, hitting clubs on the range where he gets direct data feedback from the Titleist trackman analysis along with their bespoke app, before heading out to the short game area to test the wedges in a real world environment. Ryan offers insights into the full fit process showing what you can expect if you attend a custom wedge fitting how the session will run.
