Callaway Announce New Rogue ST Family For 2022

Callaway have unveiled their latest product line up for 2022 with the return of Rogue with the all new Rogue ST family.  ST stands for 'Speed Tuned' and Callaway say that the new Rogue ST is their - fastest, most stable drivers, longest fairway woods, longest irons, and fastest hybrids ever.

For 2022 the Rogue ST range features new Drivers, Fairway woods, Hybrids and Irons.  The Callaway Rogue ST family will be available at retail across Europe from 4th March 2022.

For 2022 Callaway have introduced 4 models in the Rogue ST Driver line up featuring the Rogue ST MAX, MAX D, MAX LS and MAX Triple Diamond. Continuing to push the boundaries with innovation Callaway describe this line up as their fatest and most stable driver ever.

All models feature the AI designed Jailbreak Speed Frame which provides the stability within the design that allows Callaway to maximise the speed across the face.  Additionally, the AI desgined face as been updated for all models to ensure low spin and increased forgiveness.  All driver heads also feature unibody construction with Triaxial Carbon crown all designed to provide optimum efficiency with weighting which is further enhanced to ensure maximum speed, stability and high MOI with the all new Tungsten Speed cartridge.

Each club head differs slightly to ensure that there is a model to suit every golfer and ever level of playing ability.

Rogue ST MAX Driver

Callaway say:

Rogue ST MAX is our highest MOI head with a slight draw bias that’s built for all levels of golfers. This is the best combination of distance and forgiveness in a Callaway driver.

Rogue ST MAX D Driver

The Rogue ST MAX D features a high level of draw bias, with high MOI, a more upright lie and a stretched profile at address. All these features promote maximum shot shape correction, especially for players who tend to slice the ball.

Callaway say:

Rogue ST Max D is built for golfers who want maximum levels of forgiveness from their driver. It’s built for very high MOI, with a reduced face progression, and a more upright lie. Internal and external draw weighting have also been added, along with a generously stretched profile at address for maximum shot shape correction.

Rogue ST MAX LS Driver

Rogue ST MAX LS is built for lower spin with a strong ball flight trajectory. With a more neutral ball flight, more workability, plus lower spin.

Callaway say:

The Rogue ST Max LS is a high MOI head built for lower spin along with a stronger trajectory. Players can expect to see a more neutral ball flight, more workability, and lower spin characteristics compared to the Rogue ST MAX. It’s a great option for many mid-to-low handicap players.

Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver

This low spin option for better players is the latest version of their TOUR proven Triple Diamond shape. It’s their lowest spin offering, with a compact 450cc head.

Callaway say:

The Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS Driver is a low spin option for better players and is the latest evolution of our TOUR-proven Triple Diamond heads. It’s the lowest spinning Rogue ST Driver model, with a neutral-to-fade bias in a compact 450cc head.

Rogue ST Irons

The Rogue ST iron line-up for 2022 features the MAX OS, MAX and MAX Pro all of which have been designed to produce what Callaway describe as their 'fastest iron ever'.  The Rogue ST MAX OS are aimed at mid to high handicap golfers and designed to provide a high launch with maximum forgiveness with the over sized head and enhanced offset.  The Rogue ST MAX irons are aimed to appeal to a wide range of golfers with a focus on speed, forgiveness and all round performance.  The Rogue ST Pro is aimed at the better player and feature a hollow body construction and compact head design.

New for 2022 is the high strength 450 AI Face Cup increasing strength with the focus on delivering more ball speed and improve consistency.  

All the iron faces in each model have had the new AI Face Optimisation applied ensuring uniqueness in each model and loft to ensure each version delivers maximum benfits to golfer through launch and spin.

Further updates have been made with the Precision Tungsten weighting which differs slightly in each model to ensure the clubs provide improve launch conditions and maximum speed across the face.  Additionally, the urethane microspeheres have been moved to enhance the sound and feel whilst maintained ball speed off the face.

Rogue ST MAX are our longest Rogue ST iron, with refined game-improvement shaping for golfers who want incredible speed, forgiveness, and all-around iron performance.

Callaway say the Rogue ST MAX OS is:

Rogue ST MAX OS irons are built with wide soles, enhanced offset, and a thicker topline vs. Rogue ST MAX. This provides confidence, high launch, and forgiveness for mid-to-high handicap players.

Callaway say the Rogue ST MAX Pro is:

Rogue ST Pro irons are designed using hollow body construction to deliver the look and feel of a players performance iron, with the distance and forgiveness of a game improvement iron.

Rogue ST Fairway Woods

The Rogue ST fairway woods feature the standard MAX, MAX D (draw bias) and MAX LS (low spin) and once again the ST 'Speed Tuned' signals Callaways intention of providing golf clubs that are designed to be the fastest fairway woods ever.

For 2022 the fairway models feature all new tungsten speed cartridge to maxium the weighting positioning, new Jailbreak ST and new AI design Flace Face with each version differing to ensure maximum speed and performance.

Callaway say the Rogue ST MAX Fairway is:

The Rogue ST MAX model will fit a wide range of players who want speed, forgiveness, and all- around performance. It’s a mid-launch offering with slight draw bias. The MAX model features a new progressive shape to appeal to a wide range of golfers. This is our widest Rogue ST offering, featuring models from a 3W through 11W.

The Rogue ST MAX D is their first ever dedicated draw bias fairway wood and Callaway say:

The Rogue ST MAX D is our first dedicated draw fairway wood. It’s the highest launching fairway wood in our lineup and utilizes a slightly closed face, more upright lie angle and additional weight in the heel to promote a powerful draw. This model will fit players that need the most shot shape correction in their fairway wood.

Finally, the compact shaped Rogue ST LS fairway wood is designed for the better played who wants low spin. Callaway say:

The Rogue ST LS model features a deeper face with a compact footprint especially suited for better players. The 28g Tungsten Speed Cartridge and forward weight screw push the CG forward for low spin, while the shape and face profile make this our most fade-capable fairway wood.

Rogue ST Hybrid

The Rogue ST Hybrids feature the MAX, MAX OS, MAX OS Lite and MAX Pro all of which feature the all new Jailbreak system and have been designed for maximum distance.  Each head and design differs slightly in each model with each model aimed at different category of golfers.

The 2022 Rogue ST hybrids feature the all new Jailbreak ST, a high strength AI designed face up and precision weighting with each model slightly adjusted to maximise speed, forgiveness and all round peformance.
