10 of The Best Golf GPS Apps to Download

By: | Tue 23 Jul 2024

Do you use a golf GPS app? These are becoming ever more popular, as our recent Golfshake Survey outlined. We found that 53% of golfers under 45 have one, with that number dropping to 32% for the over 45s, but it's clear where the trend is heading.

When it comes to physical products, we discovered that 80% of golfers own some form of GPS device, with mid and low handicap players being more likely to have one, which suggests that they could contribute a positive difference to your game.

But the apps are becoming more of a factor too - especially when it relates to yardages, but also for those who like to track their scores and stats. Many of the apps make it easy to keep a record of that - in addition to offering accurate distances and club selection recommendations, which is not something you'll get from a standard GPS or rangefinder device.

If you're planning to download a GPS app, where should you start? Well, these ten were the most popular among the members of the Golfshake Community who responded to us.
