What the club says: Located within a nature reserve and just five minutes from Lagos, Espiche Clubhouse & Golf is an eco-resort which has been perfectly integrated into the surrounding natural environment and offers a unique and authentic experience in the western Algarve.

Lagoa
Lovely course just outside Lagos which is one of the better value courses in Portugal. Its in the middle of a nature reserve. Green are superb , have to keep the ball on the fairway. Tight fairways and the ball will be out with a bad driveReviewer Rating

Nice course worth playing but....
First time playing Espiche. Good looking clubhouse, friendly welcome at pro shop. Good practice facilities. Course looked good, but was so hard to keep balls on the fairways, a lot of slopes with punishing rough just off them. A few balls went missing in our 4 ball. Greens were okay, not the best but passable. Would I return, not sure, certainly worth playing the once but be prepared for a frustrating round if slightly wayward off the tee.Reviewer Rating

Attention to the whole course from tee boxes through fairways and onto greens with a very professional approach to everything off the course.

Hard course for us higher handicappers, greens were in excellent condition.

Lovely course up on the hill
Really fun course, beautiful clubhouse, worth a visit it if happy to travel a little further from Vilamoura (about 50mins). Greens ran very true and good pace too.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 97 Handicap: 21.4)

Nice lay out , got punished a few time on drives that I thought were good only to find they ended up running into bush or bunkers , due to sloping fairways. Greens not to bad excellent club house,
