What the club says: Laranjal, originally an orangery, is today a beautiful and totally different golf experience. It is a sanctuary for those seeking the finest in golf and personalized service. Its narrow fairways and well defended greens require concentration and accuracy to navigate this testing routing laid down on a rolling and well defined topography.
It is a par 72, 6.480 meters, with five par 5s, eight par 4s, five par 3s set amongst umbrella pines, cork-oaks and orange trees with a natural water course and 5 beautiful lakes.

It's not often a golf course sits in such high regard with me, as Laranjal did. I've played enough courses in places like Spain and Portugal to know a good golf course when I see one, and Laranjal is just that. It would easily sit in my top five (probably top two) courses I have played in Europe.

Fantastic course, great fun
Played this in Feb 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed. Nice layout to suit all golfers, fantastic condition and just fun to play. Well kept, well maintained and a joy to play. Would definitely recommend. Worth noting this is slightly away from the QDL centre and the other 2 courses but is only a short 5 minute drive away.Reviewer Rating

Nice course
Complements the North and South courses at Quinta do lago. A more open course but you still need to be accurate. Orange trees and water hazards are all to be found here and of the three courses this is the easier walk but still undulating. Very Slow
Lovely course but overcrowded when we played… an hour to play first 3 holes ! Spread out a bit on back 9 but only as people walked off. 5.5 hour round in total !Reviewer Rating

more secluded than the other two Quinta Do Lago courses which is a boys if you don't like too many villa lined fairways. It's up there with the best of the Algarve though and the contoured greens take some beating. They had changed the running order of the holes from my previous visit which was a bit confusing but means the 18th is now outside the clubhouse

Good but not a patch on QDL South
Nice course, very wide open and potential for punishment if playing off back tees. Heavy maintenance work on the course and conditions made it play a lot easier than it could.Reviewer Rating
