What the club says: Natural water hazards, and well-defined bunkers, along with U.S.G.A. standard greens offer year round playability, and a stimulating test for golfers of all abilities. To compliment the course there is a large well appointed clubhouse with excellent restaurant and bar facilities. Whether you are a member, visitor or participating in a society or company day you are assured of a warm welcome and a memorable visit.

Well worth a visit
The golf course is absolutely fantastic, nestled in a picturesque setting with a delightful mix of challenging holes that kept me engaged throughout the round. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The clubhouse, complete with a nice shop and restaurant, added to the overall charm.Reviewer Rating

A lovely course with some tricky holes, was in great condition seeing it was only a day after storm Bert. All staff very friendly & clubhouse is great too

Having played 28 courses this year, Colne Valley ranks as the worst for customer service and pace of play by a country mile. Paid for a 2 ball, after first 2 holes spent c15 minutes on next 2 tees before walking off as zero chance of being played through. At pro shop, went to mention this having been told c40 minutes gap between us and society play, was stared at blankly, grunted at and so walked out. Not even a “sorry you experienced this”. No interest in customer service, disgusted with attitude. Will certainly never return and would not recommend Colne Valley to my worst enemy.
To add insult to injury, had a sausage roll and pasty before the round, it tasked like a left over from a supermarket value range and created a fair amount of nausea shortly after eating.

Tees were very poor condition. Bunkers seem to have been upgraded but still full of stones.

Very impressed - good track great condition
Played after a period of wet weather and i was very impressed. Course was in much better condition than other courses I have played recently. Great layout with good variety of holes and condition was great. Reading reviews there may have been issues in the past with the bunkers - definitely not any more they were some of the best I’ve seenReviewer Rating

Nice Course and well worth a visit
Nice helpful staff, food and service was very good. Course in good condition and challenging in areas. Although they have a Par of 70 and 6 par 3's none of them are straight forward. Good challenge for all skill levels of golfer. Tip - Take a few a extra ballsReviewer Rating

Nice course, worth a visit
1st visit to this course. In reasonable condition, some boggy areas and a few bunkers currently GUR and areas of ciurse with work being undertaken. Didn't detract from an enjoyable day of golf. Weather conditions made it a difficult day, would likle to visit in good weather. Worth a visit, staff very friendly and food very good.Reviewer Rating

Tricky test
We played in the summer with firm fairways and the real test was off the tee with even well struck, and well directed drives often running into the penal rough. You have to think your way round and forget the driver, even on the par 5s. The greens were also particularly good, fast and true. Highly recommended.Reviewer Rating

Lovely golf course set in lovely scenery, golf course was in excellent condition, would recommend to anyone looking for a very good value for money round with challenging holes on a very well keep course, a credit to the grounds staff and the owner.
