What the club says: The 18 hole course, which is located on the inland side of the main coastal road at Km. 150, just one mile from Estepona town centre, was designed by José Luis López and first opened in 1989. The design uses the natural landscape which is set against the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, and enjoys sea views from most parts of the course. The fairways are wide and the greens large which provides a challenge for players of all levels, but doesn't penalise the average golfer.
There are many palms, eucalyptus and wild olive trees on the course, and players have a great opportunity to enjoy many rare species of wildlife, particularly on the second half.

Hi I play a a couple of times much improved in the last few months from when new owners took over. Good management especially Andrew he has a great team of staff. I will recommend to others golfers to try this beautiful golf course. Thanks .

Friendly Golf Course in Estepona
Course is set in rugged terrain in the mountains above Estepona so has many uphill, downhill and sidehill lies. Out of bounds on a number of holes and sloping fairways makes accurate driving important. Fairways had a number of bare patches but course being worked on by green keeping team. Large greens with undulations make putting interesting. Worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Played off season at 1pm on Monday.... we’re the only players on course
Course in good condition. Very well watered (soggy on fairway in places).

Consistently good
At €30 for twilight round (after 2pm) pretty good value for money compared to the rest of the costa del sol(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 19.5)

Excellent views of the coast
A course of many contrasts. The condition of the course was not great (possibly due to the long summer drought). The 18th fairway was one of the worst I have ever seen with barely any grass and poorly laid turf. With further investment though this course could be a real gem.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 22.2)

Lots of building work continues around the course but the swans are back in the lakes. Greens in good condition as always some of the drainage on some of the fairways is bad

Needs work on fairways. A little scruffy in places, but the greens were excellent. Good undulating course with nice views. Very friendly, helpful staff. Some very good offers and excellent value for money. I played there 3 times in 2 weeks.

A lot of maintenance work going on, including a new access road. Nicely kept greens. Friendly club. Pretty good value for 45 euros.

In my opinion Estepona Golf offer the best value for money golfing experience on the coast! The course was in great condition and the greens were running fast and true! We had a homemade burger and pizza after play which were also very good! I would recommend playing in the afternoon for a very relaxed game in the sun!
