What the club says: There are 9 holes on our main golf course and we also have a pitch and putt course. There is also a driving range, which is covered so is open all year around (excluding Christmas Day).

Decent beginner course
A good course for beginners to get some experience. The holes are generally laid out well but the greens are not great as they haven't filled in the old pin locations well.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 44 Handicap: )

Practice Makes Perfect
Nice little set up, greens could do with a massive upgrade as most of them are not in the greatest of conditions but if your only after a practice round this course is okay for that.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 36 Handicap: )

Nice course could be kept looked after a little bit more but I throughly enjoyed my round there.

Used the course this week - 25.6.14. Four of us Tee\\\\\\\'d off at 7.30 pm - the fairways were fine but the greens were appalling - the worst I have ever played on. \\\\Coming down the 9th hole at 9.40 - about 40 yards from the hole came marching down the fairway and told us he wanted us off the course - very abusive because we we\\\\\\\'re playing past the alloted time even though we were not made aware of this when we payed at 7.30pm. \\\\Would not recomend this course - you can play at Allestree in Derby for £6.00 for 18 holes on a far superior course.

Great value for money. Relaxed vibe and not intimidating for beginners like some other courses, not too crowded either. Excellent driving range with plenty of bays. Greens need some work, but it's a nice little golf club with character!

Got a Living Social deal
Dinky but challenging course narrow fairways make iron tee shots essential to stay on fairways, loads of water hazards makes you think twice before striking the ball, only being a few yards left or right can kill the hole and in fact the round
Some greens under repair due to birds/animals fairways are good, lush rough makes ball hunting slow
one bad point, there was way too much grass on the tee boxes making low tees a pain to place and hitting off the deck was hard
Great modern clubhouse and bar,nice if dated driving range
but for the money its good value to all mid to low handicappers

The course is in fairly good nick. Greens are the the best I have seen them here (still not very good) but you can't grumble for the price. Watch out for the tracksuit brigade!

Cheap is about the only good thing, if your used to playing good good courses give this one a miss but if your after a cheap knock then its fine for a round
