What the club says: Founded in 1894 and designed by the legendary James Braid, Worsley Golf Club is located just six miles west of Manchester amongst some of the most beautiful and scenic parkland in the region. The course is characterised by gently rolling fairways lined with an attractive blend of mature trees.

Always great to play
Having played Worsley before was looking forward to trying it again, this time in one of their open events. Friendly welcome all round. Course in great condition, a few areas of gur due to ongoing irrigation work but no way spoils anything. Greens mint, rolling well. Treelined but wide fairways. Well worth a visit for sure, will be returning next year.Reviewer Rating

As one of our Sandy Bunkers Golf Society days Worsley Golf Club was excellent.
Course in great condition, staff and members very friendly, although society food choices where limited the food was very good. We will be booking again .????

Return to club
Worsley GC is a great course not the hardest of courses and very player friendly becomes a little boggy in places after rain. Greens are immaculate 14th was on temp as been treated and repaired winter tee rate £25 ok if drains get improved(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 75 Handicap: 11.4)

Busy/slow round
Have played a couple of times - course was in good condition, average mix of holes, nothing overly special. Unfortunately a society slowed everything down, as holes are quite close in places there were people everywhere, on wrong fairways & we nearly got hit several times. nice round
nice round on a much improved course bit expensive but usually in good nick like today greens a bit firm(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 80 Handicap: 11.5)

Charity Golf Day
Played here for the first time, heavy rain leading up to the event but the course held up ok. Nice variety of holes, greens were showing signs of wear so overall it was ok. Good food and hospitality in the club house.Reviewer Rating

Nice course, worth playing
First time playing at Worsley GC. Nice clubhouse with well stocked Pro shop attached. Friendly welcome by all. Good practice facilities. Course is superb, well laid out, fairly flat. In great condition, lush fairways, true greens. Some really nice looking holes, treelined. Have to plot your way around a little, position is key on some holes. Is on the return list for sure.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 79 Handicap: 5.8)
