What the club says: Davyhulme Park Golf Club is set in 99 acres of parkland and offers skilled and lesser players a great challenge in equal measure. With a blend of both long and short inviting par four holes, Davyhulme can best be described as a true risk and reward course. Take on the tight, tree lined short fours at your peril! Davyhulme is easy on the legs, pleasing to the eye and deceptive in its challenge. An ideal and very picturesque course, which has consistently been in "superb condition" for many years- hence this is one course we think you’ll re-visit again and again.

Interesting?
Played Davyhulme Park last week. This was a very enjoyable round on a course which, although short, has many holes where you need to do a bit of thinking. Probably the flattest course I've ever played but nonetheless a good day out.Reviewer Rating

Standard Parkland Course
Davyhulme is a standard parkland course in terms of it's layout. I thought there was going to be no stand out holes, until I came to the par 3 17th over water with a tree in front of the green, very nice. Other than that, I can't really remember any holes in particular. It's fairly short, but there are plenty of trees if you get wayward.
Having said all that it is in excellent condition for the time of year & the greens are superb. The friendliness of everyone from the staff to the members was excellent.
I wouldn't rush back, but equally I'd happily play it again.

Good course
Honestly been on better municipal courses. Greens not up to standard for a private club.I think the course is overplayed and not given enough time to recover. divots everywhere

Always in great condition.
Despite heavy rain the course held up well and in was in great condition (it usually is). Was quiet for a Monday afternoon so we flew round & hand the chance for a beer afterwards (great pint of John Smiths btw!). Always enjoy the variety of the course, it's not the longest so the doglegs make you think your war around in places.Reviewer Rating

Pleasant course
Always in great condition, a flat short course made into quite a test due to dog-legs/good bunkering. Easy to score well/have a bad day! Welcome in the pro-shop and clubhouse were excellent, as was the food/beer.Reviewer Rating

Hidden gem
Lovely course well maintained, just reliant on dry weather which is a big problem being located in Manchester, course doesn't drain quickly so pack your waterproof shoes.I?ll be back again when course is dry.

Friendly course
Sorry afternoon fourball ,good pace of play three and a half hours. Only tees and bunkers at present letting it down but hardly surprising with the rake ban. Greens are slow as allowed to grow a bit more than usual, but always enjoyable to play here friendly staff who are very welcoming.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 84 Handicap: 15.1)
