Society visit great day out

I would wholly recommend Tredegar Park highly for a visit to play as both an individual and for any society. The welcome form the team, course, food quality and overall value for money were excellent and we will be back again. Only thing we learnt on the day and took a bit of time to get used to, was that the course has a few holes where the tee shots are blind. However the communication on the tee's where to wait for the sound of a bell was very clear and concise. The very true nature of the roll on the excellent greens ensured this was forgotten and we enjoyed our day immensley.

Awesome Greens

Played here for the 1st time on 19 February as a potential member, and will definitely join when our house move is completed.
Well maintained and in good condition for the time of year.
The greens were quick and true and a delight to hit into and putt on

Poor unfortunately

Good greens but the back 9 layout is silly. Essentially a 12 hole golf course with extra holes thrown in on the side of a hill. Bad bounces close to greens lead to lost balls. Just the wrong terrain to put a course.

Very good up and down parkland course with loads of trees, couples of holes has no real landing spot so just hit and hope it lands ok.

Maturing golf course

The course has been in existence for around 20 years and has really started to mature. Thousands of trees planted have help better define the course. The course does undulate but trolleys and buggies are available subject to weather conditions. Its location near the M4 offers easy access and green fees are very reasonable. The 19th offers some nice food and coffee at a good price. Really worth a round and great for societies.

Always seems very quiet. Course is fairly undulating but in very good condition. Fairways and Greens always looked after very well. Seems quite straightforward but is actually challenging. Some par 4\'s tough to reach in 2 shots, particularly if the wind is blowing. Staff and members are helpful and friendly. Recommended.
