A most attractive course
A beautifully maintained course; tees, fairways and greens all in tip-top condition. A good variety of holes. Large clubhouse with friendly staff. The fastest greens this summer! Slight irritation with cross-over holes but thats the only negative thing I can thin of.Reviewer Rating

Lovely parkland course, in great condition
Played in a club match, course was very firm under foot and lovely and green. Greens were apparently slower than they can be (according to the members we played with) but they were still pretty quick by most standards and were very true. Greens are the challenge here; very sloping. It's fairly tight off the tee but being tree-lined most of the time you find it unless you hit it over the boundary of the course. Lovely clubhouse setting for a post round drink.Reviewer Rating

Very pleasant, aesthetically appealing course
First time playing this course. It is a very well looked after club, with a lovely clubhouse and large patio overlooking the course. It is an older, fairly short but tight golf course. You need to drive straight to play well here. A lot of the holes, from elevated tees, look great on the eye. Greens are very slopey in places and can be very challenging when the greens are fast; they were a nice even pace when I played them. There are quite a few drivable par 4 holes and the two par 5 holes are also very reachable in two shots. This slows up the pace of play considerably. Fun to play and the only criticism would be the onconsistency of the bunkers - some have little sand, some have lots.Reviewer Rating

Really Enjoyable
Really impressed with the course and the condition of the greens. Its a little odd when fairways cross and people do not take caution when they should allow the group in front to play through first. Overall I was very impressed and would definitely play Surbiton GC again.Reviewer Rating

Not in good nick
Played here on a Sunday afternoon. Course is short and tight in places. A old course style layout. Green are very sandy after work but seem to be recovering ok and the undulations are on the extreme end. One of the main lines of defence. \\General areas of the course are well below standard. A hard winter, worn out or under-maintained or a combination of all 3 would be my best guess. I’d describe it as scraggy! Course furniture on the other hand is all in very good shape. \\Might try it again in the summer but there are a lot of nice courses in the same price bracket that are in much better shape right now, most of which give you another 500 yards to play with.Reviewer Rating

Visitor at Surbiton GC
Had this club on my list for a while as one on the edge of London. Very nice setting with lovely tree lined fairways. Course is 5700 yards off the yellows, so not the longest but you have to hit fairways to put together a good score and some nice changes in incline throughout the course increase the challenge. Was a bit muddy despite the good weather so would be a worry in the very wet months if the course becomes unplayable.Reviewer Rating

Woldingham GC
Course is currently in excellent condition both fairways and greens. Beware the short roughthough as it is quite hard to exit. Car parking is plentiful and practice facilities are good too.
Nice clubhouse although on the day the bar staff could have been more attentive.

Excellent greens
We had a friendly welcome at this (what looks like) traditional golf club. The course is quite short and driver rarely needed. It's reasonably tight but not that much so, there's no water hazards but the rough is unusually penal - I wouldn't want to play it when the rough is wet. At least a couple of deep bunkers too, which I thankfully avoided. The main draw here is the course conditioning, which was excellent. The fairways were pretty much immaculate and the greens were so true. A number of holes had noise from the road and even petrol fumes on number 17, but there were a couple of good views too. Overall, not a particularly interesting layout or especially attractive but it's always a pleasure to play on such well kept grass. Some reasonable practice facilities and bar area looked nice. We played twilight midweek and got round in 3 hours as a 2 ball despite being fairly busy. I would return but not at full rate and probably not for a couple of years, as there's too many good courses in Surrey to choose from.Reviewer Rating
