What the club says: The St Neots Golf Club was formed in 1890 and is the oldest Golf Club in the county. Described by many as a thinking mans Golf Course and situated at the juncture of the Rivers Kym and Ouse, it combines both water and charming parkland features in a harmonious, mature and natural way.

Has recovered well from recent flooding. Even the bunkers were 'playable'. Greens, although wet were true.

Course was fully booked and because of this pace of play was extremely slow, often 3 groups waiting on each tee. The round took nearly 5 hours.

Breakfast was underwhelming.

Well kept, established course

Excellent well established course, quite tight in places. A little local knowledge helps as quite often found myself on the wrong side of the course. Lots of practice of hitting out of the trees!

Played St Neots for the very first-time last weekend as a visitor. The course is long, narrow, and kept in good condition. The greens are in excellent condition. Unfortantley the club is let down by its members. From the moment we arrived, we didn’t feel welcomed. The theme of the day was members looking at us with disdain (with a few comments along the way too). Staff unhelpful and happy to chat to members, but not visitors. We’ve only been playing for 2 years, and every club we’ve played at have been welcoming to visitors. The most damming assessment of St Neots is if I had walked to that club as a someone who has just started golf 18 months ago, I wouldn’t of played again.

A good challenge

A well run club with a challenging mature parkland course. Fairways and greens in good condition considering the hot dry summer we've had. A course that I never get bored of.

New course for me. Obviously with current weather conditions course was very dry. Short tight course. Almost target golf. Overall in good condition. Even the bunkers.

Lovely course

Very pleasant course, well maintained, decent layout but with some distance between a few greens and the next tees. I shall return.

Good, tight course. Conditions soft underfoot and windy. good challenging course. Due to winter conditions still, played off Mat's which was ok.

Very good as normal, weather was fantastic, play was slop in places but was allowed to play through on a few holes. All round great course and will worth a visit.
