What the club says: There are three distinct ‘nines’ – the River, the Valley and the Lake. Lingering memories will be of demanding drives on the opening two holes of the River nine, and of two exhilarating par 3s: the ninth on the river, where the green is situated beyond a mature oak tree which guards a lake, and the second on the Lake Course, known as the Island Hole.
Singing Hills is regarded as one of the best courses in the area.

Definitely worth a visit

Always a pleasure to play here. Three nines means you can usually get a tee time even on busy days. Interesting holes on a course just outside of Brighton and Hove just north of the South Downs. Easy walking course in good condition (July). Took me a while to come to terms with the greens which were true running, but faster than I am used to with subtle breaks.

Green in the process of being topped

Valley closed but Lake a dn River open. Can feel the softness of the ground but no standing water. Bunker wet but playable. Tee boxes ok and definition of fairways not always plain to see. Some greens were airiated, 10th, 11th and 12th and others need to be done soon. Slow, not surprisingly. Overall good to be back and for a good price

Well worth a visit

An interesting course located just north of Brighton consisting of three nines. Many tree lined holes and water on some to contend with. Greens in excellent condition. Easy to walk round as not hilly. An island green on the second on the Lake nine to test your short iron play earl on. Overall good value. Will definitely play again.

On a very windy day with 50 mph gusts, it was still a lovely course to play with the south downs in the background.

Great course in great shape

I play here with a mate around six times each year. Greens are currently in fantastic shape, best I've ever seen them. Friendly pro shop, really good restaurant and there are some lovely holes - in particular a Sawgrass-style island green. great for high handicappers. Challenging but never brutal

Great layout, lovely setting

27 holes which gives you a mix and max option. There are no boring holes at Singing Hills, everyone has its own challenge. Plenty of bunkers but all around the greens and a few ponds and lakes that keep things interesting. And all with a beautiful view of the South Downs. Can get soggy if there's been a lot of rain.
