Great but very challenging
Been lucky each of the 3 times I've played here weather wise. Can't imagine playing it in wind and worse! I'm not generally a big links fan, but some really nice holes here. Great conditioned greens and course very well kept.Reviewer Rating

Not so hidden gem
What can be said about Silloth Golf Club, probably nothing that hasn't already been said.A terrific experience, from start to finish. Played two days, one flat calm, one windy, just like playing two different golf courses.
Set amongst the dunes, even the busy course traffic on Sunday, didn't detract from the feeling you were in your own little private golf course. A fantastic mix of holes, tough and tricky par 3s, thought provoking par 4s, and hit it big, open par5s.
All in all a wonderful golfing experience.
Just go play.

Fully justifies its place in the top 50 UK courses - a gem of a links comparable with Cruden Bay and Machrihanish in its authenticity. Warm and friendly welcome also.Reviewer Rating

Very good course, challenging too
Loved it here and it was the best course I?d played until I played Trevose. I would play here again. Some tough challenging holes and set up fair, stray badly and you get what you deserve yet well rewarded for accuracy. The greens were quick even after some recent rain, which I was told slowed the course, I'm glad it did!!Highly recommended
