Worth a visit
A deceptive, 9 hole course. Always a challenge with water on 7 holes. 8th and 9th with approach shots over the river.(Round played: Dec 2016 - Score: 93 Handicap: 16)

Ok course in shocking condition
All courses àre suffering with no rain and heatwave conditions, but Sidcup seems to have given up !Whole course is stone hard with bare lies all over. Some patches not even bare, just non existent grass.
Bunkers are rock hard with some dust on top. Totally unplayable. Any form of chipping and pitching is not going to happen. Now we come to the greens...or should I say green/browns. Very very patchy. I'be played courses where I ne green to the next are different pace...but not on the SAME green ! Get on green bit, slowish. Get on a Brown bit, fast. God help you if you cross both on one green. £25 for this, remember its only a 9 hole, is grossly overpriced. The range at Pedham place was in better condition, and I don't think they water that a lot. It need a lot more looking after, water it ! Not just the bit in front of the clubhouse.

Separate tees ensure that the back and front nine of this 9 hole course differ in length and challenge. Although short in length the differing undulations on a number of holes can lead to some difficultly in club selection, especially when playing the third/twelfth which has a blind approach to the green.
The club is a private members club but they are very welcoming to guests. Book up well in advance.
