Very friendly
Very well layed out course. Very nice club house terraced area for drinks outside, very helpful staff same person I booked with over phone whilst on holiday. Needed a game even though playing solo but managed to hook up with a regular who took me round. Very good layout not to demanding some holes under repairs but most enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Well worth a visit
Very friendly club and very interesting course with plenty of challenges. Some may not like the crossing of other holes but this didn't affect our round at all.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12.9)

SHANKLIN & SANDOWN GOLF COURSE
Beautiful course with some lovely holes but it should be for £45. Great clubhouse overlooking the 9th which is over water. Really enjoyed it.***No idea why this course is called Sarah Hammond.
It's Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club.

Return to where i started
had not played the course for a year, the weather was not that good but the rain held off mostly. The course was in great condition with excellent greens. A little slow but given the amount of recent rain understandable. Fairways very good . This is the course where I started to play golf a few years ago and it was a pleasure to return. Its well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic condition, beautiful views
This course is very well maintained, discounting severe weather, can play all year round. Variety of holes to test your game. Beautiful views of the coast and the downs. Then relax in substantial clubhouse, excellent facilities and food.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course, lovely views
The course is in a lovely condition considering the winter we have had. There has been extensive work carried out over the past few years and it is all now coming to fruition. The greens are in fantastic condition. The views are superb, out over the downs or towards the cliffs at Culver Down. There is an abundance of wildlife too.Reviewer Rating
