What the club says: Our challenging 6232, yard par 70 course is maintained to the very highest standards, with tees and greens built to USGA specifications. Opened in 1993, the course has been cleverly designed with two distinct and contrasting nine holes; an outward nine, set in parkland with lakes, water hazards and dog-legs and a stunning 'links style' inward nine with sand banks, broom and a host of challenges. Sand Martins is the perfect risk and reward golf course, offering a challenge to golfers of all levels.
The back nine is truly unique among inland golf courses, with high rivetted bunkers and hazards lurking on every hole offering a good test of golf; where a par on the 13th will feel like a birdie, and where Deception, the 15th with a ravine across the fairway, really does live up to its name!

Lovely course, defo play again
Short off the yellows although a lot of hazards, definitely a risk reward course if you have the mineral's, true greens although slightly slow as was damp - would be great to play in summerReviewer Rating

Sunday yellow
Beautiful Berkshire gem with 2 different nine holes. The first is very much parkland and the back has a links feel albeit in land. Greens where lovely with a great true roll.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Great course and in superb condition after a long dry summer. The front 9 is quite different to the back 9, so keeps things interesting and challenging.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course
An absolute gem, highly recommend playing here. Two contrasting nines, with many holes requiring a bit of thought off the tee due to severe dog legs, ditches etc. Course was in fantastic condition.Reviewer Rating

Great fun
Sand Martins is a very friendly golf club. The staff are very welcoming and the food is exceptional. The course is challenging but very fair and you can score well if you play it strategically. This is not a course to simply bomb with the driver.
The front 9 is parkland and the back 9 is more links style.
