What the club says: Robin Hood Golf Course is set amid the beautiful, Warwickshire countryside. Off the yellow tees, this course is adequately challenging for the novice golfer, and from the back tees it can be testing even for big hitters. Robin Hood is well known for its slick greens and plentiful bunkers and most holes of vary in style, so there is little risk of deja vu! Most of the holes are tree lined, making each its own entity, guarded from the rest of the course.

Stunning autumn morning
Robin Hood course was a little wet and soft at the start of our round but with warm sunshine and a light breeze the greens speeded up but the ball still didn't run on the fairways. This course is quiet tight and rewards keeping the ball on the fairway. The closing 3 holes are challenging especially with soft fairways.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 18.5)

A real nice quality golf course
Enjoyed the course with its entrance hid down the side of a local school. I was pleasantly surprised at the greenness of the place. Greens and fairways were impressive despite a really sustained hot summer. From tee to green, there was quality and signs that the course is looked after. Lots of trees but with care you can play around them. The staff and members were very friendly and helpful too. Worth a visit if you can get there- you won't regret it... trust me.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 16.2)

Scenic and Tight.
A lovely course but some very tight fairways . If you struggle to hit the ball straight off the tee then you are gonna have a hard time. Several of the holes are blind so make sure you go and look ahead or get a course planner. Worth a visit, Long Par 3s but overall enjoyable visit. Would certainly play it again knowing it now.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 14)

Love the greens
Read many reviews about Robin Hood and played a few weeks ago, it has some fantastic holes including the first 2 and the last 2 on the front 9 then its a fairly boring track until it gets to 14 to 18 which is probably the strongest part of the golf course. The greens for the time of year are brilliant but boy is it wet and seems to be heavily played.Reviewer Rating

Great Greens
Greens are worth the green fee alone however when I played eceywhere else was so wet. It gets lots of play too but some great holes like the 1st and 2nd with a beautiful pond and 16 what a hole that is, the designer who I’m not sure was needs a mention , wow people would be amazed if it was in the south. Shame about the clubhouse and the wetness so a 4 from meReviewer Rating

Tough test for high handicappers
Visited the Robin Hood course as part of a charity day for our works company. The setting is in the middle of a luxurious housing estate and unfortunately the prices refelected this. a ball marker alone cost ?4, 2 drinks (squash and lemonade) over ?6 and 2 sausage sandwiches ?8 - does not endear vistors. The welcome was rather sterile and the buildings quite aged. The course waas a good challenge (this was proved with the low handicappers coming out on top) very narrow tree lined fairways, the greens suffered from a recent tining session and the course had an overall tired look about it. Nothing to write home about and would struggle to attract my ?60 visitor fee in the future.Reviewer Rating

Worth playing
You get the felling of greatness as you drive in through the electric gates. Large carpark with an overflow that is next to the chipping/bunker area. Welcoming staff in the pro shop and throughout the club.Manicured fairways give the course great definition, with the rough only an inch or two high but tightly cut, anywhere off line can be costly, as I found out more than once. A short walk between the second and third tees, otherwise each tee box is close to the preceding hole. Water can be found on a few of the holes, but due to the positioning it's not too intimidating. Toilet facilities on course is always welcome, and these were maintained to a high standard. Back into the clubhouse which is two tiered and has views overlooking the practise green and 18th fairway. I'm definitely visiting again, as the course owes me big time.
