What the club says: Rhondda Golf Club was founded in 1910 and is located in the picturesque Rhondda Valley in South Wales. The Club is proud of its roots to coal mining and we can offer breathtaking views over the remnants of these local collieries and the surrounding countryside. On a clear day The Bristol Channel can also be seen from the elevated 7th tee.

Great Views.
Great views all around from this mountain top course. Exceptional Value for money and the course played well despite all the horrendous rain they have had. Tricky greens but a very enjoyable morning out. Well worth a visit - the groundstaff are doing their level best and the bar staff were friendly and helpful.Reviewer Rating

Hadn't played Royal Rhondda for a few years and wasn't disappointed. In great condition, testing layout and greens were excellent. Definately worth the trip but consider the weather as its quite exposed

outstanding course
outstanding course on top of a mountain, fairways are cut nice and short, the rough is cut in the direction of the hole so your sit nice if you run off the fairway, the greens was running nice and firm.there is some nice looking holes

Very good course,but wrap up warm as it is on top of a mountain! Fairways were great, and greens well maintained, even if some of them are lightning quick! Great facilities, fantastic course and views, a must play in the Welsh valleys ?

Hit my Best score up the Rhonnda Golf Club for me, course in good condition and greens were best i've seen them for a long time..

A good course slightly hilly but flatter than some.Not long but good challenge for high handicappers.Very good views of the valleys.Very good value for money.

A gem of a golf course set deep in the Rhondda Valley. A mountian top course but not too hilly.
Course was in great condition, and due to the weather afforded some stunning views down the Welsh Valleys.

Having been here once before I can thoroughly recommend this course. OK the early part of the round was in think fog but when that lifted the course was very interesting . There are some real climbs on here & the par 3 8th is a great hole.
For a southerner there are some stiff hills to clamber up & down. The Pro in the shop was very helpful & another course I can wait to go back to.
