What the club says: Opened in 1976 RAF St Athan Golf Club is a well established members club situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, the most southerly point in Wales. The dedicated green keepers maintain the level 9 hole course to high standards, with tree lined fairways and first-rate putting surfaces. It’s a par 72, over 6200 yards long providing a testing challenge to golfers of all standards. The Clubhouse has high-quality changing facilities, licensed bar and catering, offering all visitors the hospitality of a traditional member's club. RAF St Athan Golf Club is open to everyone and always gives a warm welcome to new members whether it’s golfing or social.

Great Course
Its a great 9 hole challenge, not an easy course by any stretch of the imagination, and it's well looked after. People under-rate it because it's 9 hole, but its a challenge for anyone.Reviewer Rating

Tricky layout with very tight fairways and alot of trees in places. Suggest leaving the driver in the bag. Very quiet when I played despite being a Saturday morning so no trouble negotiating the 9 holes twice. The greens were pure but very long and needed a cut

Great little course on the doorstep! Always friendly and very welcoming. Course can get waterlogged after heavy rain, but good value for money.
