What the club says: NOW FULL 18 HOLE COURSE!
Mount Pleasant is located in the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside just a short drive from Hitchin. We aim to keep the course in an excellent condition all year round, with some of the best greens in the area.
The course is a mix of two halves, the original 9 holes play as a traditional parkland course with treelined fairways requiring accuracy off the tee. Whereas the newly built 9 holes play as an inland links course with undulating fairways and fast sloping greens that can be demanding on your short game.
This makes the course very unique to play and is the perfect challenge for golfers at all levels.

Short tight layout in good condition
Short course with a tight layout with an overlap on a couple of holes and a long walk between 9 and 10. In good condition, pretty wet in places and generally muddy on older part of course. Greens well kept and true. Very friendly staff, pace pretty good.Reviewer Rating

better than it looks
we did a course overview on their website and was not expecting much to be honest, but... the clubhouse and staff are great. the course although not that long in length makes you work hard on the greens, the greens are very firm and cut tighly for even pace around the course, the greens are also very sculpted so never a flat 10 foot putt!! the holes can seem a bit close together in the middle of the course but when playing it is not really an issue. i would recommend playing this course as it is tougher than you may think.Reviewer Rating
