What the club says: Throughout the 6,618 yards of this par 72 course, water features, large bunkers, trees and expansive greens combine to offer a challenging, as well as a most enjoyable golfing experience. The front nine, which plays towards the small village of Mill Green itself, is both open and undulating, and by comparison the back nine plays directly towards Hertford and is noted for its narrow fairways which work their way through ancient woodland and large lakes.

Played here many times. In reasonable condition for the time of year. Greens a bit difficult tobread.

Not as easy as you think!
Great little course. Not very long, although some walks between greens and tees. Looks easy and the Handicap allowance seems to enforce that - but you have to think carefully about your shots - especially if playing for the first time!! Definitely worth a visit - in good condition and staff very pleasantReviewer Rating

very good value, and a good course - but a messy booking in process, and overbooked course - late going out because of it, for a twilight round, so only managed 16 of the 18 holes

Play here regularly. Allotment of time money and effort has been put into this course over the last 3cyrs. The fairways are beginning to suffer from the lack of rain but the greens are in great condition. This course is also the only one locally that has decent sand in thr bunkers.

Course in very good condition. 2 yrs ago the club spent a lot of time and money on the bunkers. They were rebuilt. However, maintenance is lacking. The black rubber base is showing through on some and grass is growing in others.

This was a round in early February after the course had been carry only due to wet weather. The greens were outstanding. The rest was carefully managed to avoid undue damage. Impressive course management.

Nice course
Played this course a few times, it has undergone major upgrades to bunkers, clubhouse and facilitiesExcellent practice facilities. The course itself is a mixture with quite a few open holes a few with water in play, and some woodland holes. I think it caters for all standards of golfer and I would highly recommend it

Recovered well from this years drought. Greens, fairways and bunkers,all in good condition. Found greens difficult to read. Not a criticism of the course.
