What the club says: Located just south of the market town of Lutterworth, the course is set in rolling countryside. The club places an emphasis on maintaining the course in good condition and the greens are currently considered as among the best in the county With plenty of established trees and an ongoing tree planting programme, the presence of a number of ponds and the meandering river Swift, the course places a premium on accuracy. The course is a good test of golf and there are a number of holes worthy of a special mention.

Shame about the fire
Unfortunately lutterworth had an arson attack earlier this year and everything was destroyed. They have a few portacabins and a marquee and are hoping to rebuild. The course was in good condition and was a pleasure to play.Reviewer Rating

Nice course
Played and enjoyed Lutterworth. I shot a 97 on a19 handicap. The course was in good condition lovely cut/defined fairways, well raked bunkers and a lovely colourful blend of trees. The greens were a little unpredictable- fast, slow and with swerves around certain holes! This is lovely part of Leicestershire and well worth the visit. There is a real need to manage the course and to decide when to take the shot on or when to lay up. Too long and you get blocked out by trees, get bunkered or go into ditches. Has some real busy area of tees area and in course out of bounds white stakes. The staff are excellent helpful and nice - a real bonus about this lovely place.Reviewer Rating

Very good
An undulating pretty course with some long demanding par 4's and plenty of tricky greens. Quite narrow in places so a straight drive is key. Tough par 3 15th uphill and 188 yards, protected by a pot bunker and a tree. Definitely one to return to.Reviewer Rating

Lovely day for a game of golf
Course was good although the greens had been recently been hollow tined which left them a bit bumpy but too bad(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.1)

A Grand Day Out!
A varied and well-maintained course still playing off permanent tees to good permanent greens in late November. As visitors we were warmly welcomed by the pro. Members were friendly and several asked us if we were having a good day. Which we were. Apart form some of the golf! :-) Our group play a lot of local parkland courses and Lutterworth is definitely one of the best. 19th hole very comfortable with good service too.Reviewer Rating
