Enjoyable round
Played April 2022, fairways firm for time of year, nice feeling to strike irons off them. The green slopes are severe but thankfully they still weren't up to full speed. I can see this being the main defence of the course. The rough was also down, not sure I'd like to play here in summer warm and baked! Or maybe I do?It's a James Braid course so if your club has reciprocal playing rights definitely give it a go.

The fairways and greens are absolutely immaculate, especially the greens which are firm and absolutely rapid to putt on.
The challenge of the course is great, a real mix of holes with some tree and heather lined fairways plus clever fairway and greenside bunkering to keep you honest. The rough is REAL rough, not the daft 3/4 of an inch high stuff you get on most courses these days.
The clubhouse is also very nice and I believe they have relaxed their dress code in the clubhouse too which is a welcome change.
Best course in Lanarkshire by a country mile.

The cost in winter months is 15 pounds which compared to some is a steal.
Roll on the summer and the green of Lanark.
