What the club says: Many may be aware of the palace at Hampton Court but not necessarily its golf course. Within the grounds at Home Park, it offers a truly unique opportunity to play a traditional parkland course at one of the country’s most famous royal parks.
As golfers of ability, the new owners take great pride in the presentation of their courses. At 6,500 yards, the par 71 design meanders through hundreds of mature trees in a naturally free draining location.

This golf course might well be open but it should not be - the front 9 especially is in a disgraceful condition. Many of the greens should be on temporaries or the course closed. Feels like Get Golfing have no regard for golfers or their course - still charging £50 per round when the course is dreadful. The club house is like a motorway service station and does not even look or feel like a golf club facility.Reviewer Rating

More interested in selling food and drink than a golfers' experience
This venue seems to be about the bar, club house and terrace and not the golfer's experience. Why have all the ball washers been removed?
Why have most of the bins been removed (with litter left where they used to be)?
Why are all of the flags the same colour?
Why is EVERYONE paired up?
Why is it so slow (5-6 hour round).
Answer - to maximise revenue and reduce costs. This company seem to have done the same to Pyfrord - minimise golfing costs and investing heavily in selling food and drink and a venue for anything that will bring money in.
Interestingly, Get Golfing are a "charity" but seem to take a lot of money out of the "charity" by selling food and drink at premium prices. A questionable business model which certainly does not seem to have the golfers experience at its core.

Disappointed
Glad I played it for the experience but wasn't over awed. A bit of a links course. Nothing of great character to the course - felt like ground hog day - played the same hole 18 times. Staff excellent and very efficient.Reviewer Rating

Extremely slow. Bad value for money.
Tried to play a quick twighlight round after work as a two-ball. Got paired with another two-ball AFTER teeing off (starter told us after our tee-shots that we would have to wait for another pair). Course was full of groups that had been paired, so extremely slow four-ball pace the whole way around. Had to give up after 12 holes. At £45 for a twighlight round, this is not a good value golf course at the best of times but particularly not if there's only time to fit in 12 holes.Reviewer Rating

First time
This was my first visit to Hampton Court Palace Golf Club, the course is a parkland course and a good test for any golfer. The course was in very good condition and we had a dry day. I hope to return soonReviewer Rating

If you want a six hour round, it's perfect
Played yesterday- it took 6 hours. No Marshall. Everyone paired up and bunched together. There is seemingly no real interest in the golfer's experience here as the majority of times I have played it since it's been the same - paired up and a very long round.
Since new owners Get Golfing have taken over, this has become a venue with a golf course, not a golf club.
Extortionate prices for food and drink whilst out on the course (£3.30 for a small soft drink). Avoid!!

Pleasant all round
Very nice flat course where you need to be on the fairway! There were four temporary greens which did let it down and some bunkers that need work but everything else including clubhouse, food and welcome was very good. Shame it is too far away from me to play it other than now and againReviewer Rating

Minimal challenge and slow play
Took about 5 hours for the round, not a huge amount of variation in the course but the facilities were really good. Decent value for moneyReviewer Rating

Great Changes
Love the changes that have been made recently as previously played in 2019 and it is so much better now. The clubhouse had a great atmosphere with music playing and good food, they even said I could bring my dog along to walk the course. Greens were incredibly quick and shows I need to work on my putting. Staff very friendly and Lelani really helped me out, nothing was too much to ask. Thank you and will be back soon.Reviewer Rating
