What the club says: Set between Teddington and Twickenham in West London, Strawberry Hill offers a quiet friendly environment to play your golf and to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Clubhouse.
With one par 5 and only three par 4 holes the 9 hole course may not be difficult from a length perspective, but each hole has been designed to provide other challenges. The brook crosses 8 holes, there are many bunkers, and the fairways are narrow requiring accuracy to keep out of trouble.

Quirky but fun
The course has come on a long way since I last played it a year ago. The greens were in great condition, to rival much higher priced courses. The tees were long and needed a cut but overall it played well. The food is very good and it is one of the friendliest clubs around. It is 2 loops of 9 with 18 different tees. Only 2 par 5’s with some great par 3’s which are really testing.

Compact course in great condition
At just 9 holes with 5 par-3s, the course may be somewhat limited for some golfers but it was in superb condition and has a very friendly club house and pro shop.Reviewer Rating

Easy Walk
Short 9 hole course, play the 2nd 9 off different tees. The 9 holes consisting of 5 par 3s (3 of over 200 yards), 2 par 4s & a par 5. Testing small greens but suited for new golfers or those struggling with 18 holes on 6000+ yards. Very friendly course & staff sorted coffees, beers & food even though not fully open during covid crisis. If visiting area worth considering Fulwell as an alternative.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 77 Handicap: 9.7)

Quite challenging
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Twickenham/Strawberry Hill - a lot people don't even know this course exists. It is quite challenging as there are 2 small rivers running through the course which impact almost all of the holes and the fairways are pretty narrow but it's a very friendly club and welcomes visitors.Reviewer Rating

Course in OK condition. Interesting but 6 230 par 3s not particularly good to play.

It's a course which has some long par threes, if played off the whites, and quite short par fours. But don't let the short yards fool you. There are quite a few tricky obstacles to circumnavigate, lending itself to be quite a challenge.
The course is well kept and the greens run true and are of good quality.
The welcome that is recieved was awesome with staff and members very friendly, which counts for alot. It also has big trees and perhaps you could forget that it is a relativley small space in which you are playing.
All in all it's a relaxed enviroment in which to spend a couple of hours and play some golf.
