Excellent Course!
I was invited to play Halesworth by some friends who won a free round in a charity event. I knew nothing about the course before the invite but I have to say I was very impressed.Fast and true greens with immaculate fairways, even the tee boxes stood out. The course has a good layout and each hole gives you something to think about. It's the sort of course that gives you several different ways of playing it. Long hitters can score well with a number of shortish par 4s & 5s but accuracy is equally important. There are a number of genuine risk reward type holes that made for an exciting round for our four-ball.
The staff were all extremely welcoming and the members were very friendly out on the course and in the bar. I played during the afternoon, midweek so the course was quiet and pace of play was not an issue. I'd imagine on a busy day/time things could get a bit hectic as there are a couple of pinch points with some greens very close to the next tee box.
Overall, the course was in fabulous condition and I will definitely be looking to visit again. Well worth a look if you get the chance.

This was the first time that I've played the course, and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, apart from the weather, which could have been kinder, but then that's the English weather I suppose. Given the chance I'll certainly go back. The staff that I came in contact with, both on the phone and in person were extremely pleasant and friendly. Thank you.Reviewer Rating
