What the club says: The Gog Magog Golf Club, established in 1901, has been the favourite Cambridge golf club for top class amateur events having the special appeal of two top quality championship golf courses.
Set in the rolling East Anglia countryside among the legendary Gog Magog hills, these Cambridge golf courses afford superb all year round golf facilities with stunning views over Cambridge and across the fens of East Anglia to the majestic Ely Cathedral.
The Old Course -Home of the Lagonda Trophy
At 6398 Yards off the whites, the Old Course is more a test of accuracy than strength and be prepared for a challenging start as you steadily climb from the Clubhouse and take in the beautiful vista from the Gog Magog Hills.
Wandlebury Course - Open Regional Qualifying Course 2007 - 2011
Longer at 6735 yards, but perhaps less intimidating than the Old Course, at least while the trees are maturing, the Wandlebury presents more opportunities for using your fairway woods, although use of your sand wedge is unlikely to correspondingly diminish.

Fantastic
I course I would happy play over and over again. In fabulous condition all holes have a challenge and no two are alike. Some fabulous views too.Catering is excellent, all staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.
The practice area is well worth a visit for all aspects of your game.

Not too Tough
Course is very open and the elements will batter you be it wind, sun or rain. However the fairways are wide and forgiving so stray drives are not overly Beware the bunkers! They are deep, stoney and very little sand. Greens on our visit were firm and fast but a couple of them were a little bobbley. The best part of our visit was the food.. simply outstanding

Nice course - definitely worth a visit
1st visit to this course and hoping that we return. Very windy conditions that hampered playing but the course is reasonable condition. Fairways a bit scruffy from bird damage, but the greens in good condition although not as fast as the practice green by the clubhouse. Excellent service and fabulous two course carver to finish.Reviewer Rating

Excellent condition great course
As usual in excellent condition, greens were quick and true. Rough is high and wispy if you get too far off the fairway but it was good(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 81 Handicap: 7.8)

Wandlebury Course
Really enjoyed the layout and the condition was great. Its clearly (in my opinion) the '2nd' course with the Old being the main course.Probably slightly easier than the Old course in the sense the fairways are a bit wider and not as long.
Great course and drains well.
Give it a go.

The Golf Traveller
Played both courses in a day and was amazed by the condition for the time of year. While other courses are closed this venue has to be one of the best locations for winter golf in the country, no mud, great turf, and surprisingly quick greens. The improvements they are making to the practice facilities that are already as good as I have seen will make this an even better winter destination. The value for money of their winter deals is fantastic with a very friendly welcome and high quality foo, I can't wait for a game in the summer when I expect the greens will be even quicker.Reviewer Rating
